Welcome to Tiny Seed Village, a developing agrihood that nurtures and supports residents of tiny houses on wheels. Agrihoods are planned communities that integrate agriculture into residential neighborhoods with a focus on food production, provision of green spaces, recreation, and aesthetics that enrich the community.
Tiny Seed Village is a sister neighborhood to the Blue Hill Cooperative EcoVillage. Located in the picturesque seaside community of Blue Hill in Downeast Maine, Tiny Seed Village is nestled into 7 acres of beautifully forested land.
After much planning and connecting with the right resources, Tiny Seed Village is breaking ground this Spring of 2024!
Mission
Tiny Seed Village's mission is to provide a place in community for owners of tiny houses (on wheels) that integrates agriculture and is attainable, year round, and long term.
Vision
Our vision is to cultivate a sense of community and belonging within the village of 14 home sites. Each home site will be provided with a suitable pad for a tiny house on wheels, parking for 2 cars, septic, well water, fiber optic internet and assistance with design, installation, education and maintenance of off grid solar.
